Liz Heflin is an author, poet, and lifelong lover of words. She predominantly writes literary fiction with a leaning toward magical realism. She counts many authors among her inspirations, including (in no particular order) Salman Rushdie, Vladimir Nabokov, Barbara Kingsolver, Virginia Woolf, Pablo Neruda, Toni Morrison...
Outside of writing, travel is her greatest obsession. She and her husband have been to forty-plus countries across all seven continents, and they have lived in South Korea, England, and the United States.
She has her bachelor's degree and MFA in creative writing and is the founder of MACE Writing.
